Sometimes when we’re drilling…

we drill into a cavern. This is almost always problematic because whatever fluid we’re drilling with will be lost into that cavern and the drop in hydraulic pressure that accompanies that loss will cause collapse in the upper borehole. Only seldom can we recover from such an event.
